Robotics in the healthcare industry – fields of application and potentials

Following the first edition of the book in 2017, there is now an updated version of the book "Robotics in the healthcare industry". The Rhön Foundation states that its motivation is to contribute to reducing the reluctance towards robotics in the healthcare sector. In view of the major challenges in healthcare, such as the shortage of skilled workers and demographic change, they see robotic assistance systems as relieving the burden on staff in inpatient and outpatient care structures.
